Great little sole proprietor Italian place, good service, delicious food. I had the large steak stromboli with mushrooms on top, my wife had the steak sandwich and homemade chips. The owner came around, checking on the tables and making conversation. Neat place, reminds me of Anzio’s Italian in Phoenix. Thank you!

We tried the lunch of two slices sausage and pepperoni, excellent, extremely thin crust, which we enjoy. Calamari was very good and so were the fried ravioli. I felt the prices were good, the service was good - definitely will be back. I want to try one of the dinner dishes such as chicken, piccata, and/or chicken Parmesan! Edited this to add some pictures of the soup, the amazing, gnocchi soup and of course large pepperoni, pizza and chicken sandwich. Second meal was awesome just as good as the first! Service. Excellent as always. I forgot to put bacon on the sandwich, but it was fine. I enjoyed my meal!

I came here for a date night with my fiance the night before a wedding, not knowing what to expect while out of town. We’re from Raleigh, so we didn’t expect Raleigh level, but this place surpassed it. We were pleasantly extremely surprised. We were sat on the side patio, which was an extremely cute vibe. It was clearly a locals’ favorite type of restaurant. The restaurant makes their own dough, bread, sauces, soup, ranch dressing- all homemade. And all delicious! The food was great, and the service was great too! We were so thirsty and never ran out of water. Our waitress even made sure we had paper plates and plastic silverware to take back to our hotel room! Not sure when we’ll come back to Albemarle, but if we come back, we’ll be going here!

I am here on business and have NOT been overwhelmed by the quality of the local food. This place however broke the mold. Food was high quality and the prices were more than reasonable. Place was clean, efficient and all staff was very friendly. I will probably eat here again before I leave town.
